The Masses

Written by: Blackwillow Seir-Distara, Ithmia Blossom

It only takes one small, smooth pebble
To break the mighty dam
One stick to crush the fernbeast's back
One fool to shatter all that I am
A single spark to ignite a fire
Arboreal vista besieged by flame
Two hands to deluge the raging inferno
Two more to alight it the same
Through death comes life
And with loss comes repair
Through every charred tree trunk
Life is always birthed there
One voice to raise a hundred
One poem to spark a flood
One God to inspire the masses
But a thousand others who would
For every verse scribed
And those times you have died
Your words are heard, you are seen
And seen you will be
Until the end
The end

Penned by my hand on the 25th of Scarlatan, in the year 930 AF.
