What a shame, I never had luck to run into YOU! Must have been a great "LEADER of your pack"!
I wish I could turn this time back! Perhaps a Jester could become all "wolfish" and stuff..
but then again, I 'aint that ruff...

Never mind, let's not think about things from before our time...

The Elder God Lupus was created by Ayar at the beginning of time.
I remember seeing one of HIS shrines!

Lupus represented the wild, beating heart of nature in its creatures,
Sweet! This is great! I love HIS features!

and those who hunt them therefore HE is also called the Wildfather and interposed HIMSELF into the affairs of mortals.
Hopefully not like, located in the Erisian Pyramid, (in total) Confusi(on)a Hotel.

HE granted the city of Ashtan, to be their patron. Just to later patron the Council of Oakstone as well the House of the Arcane Kindred and
during the War of the Worldreaver, in order to rescue Hermes, THE Wildfather and the daughter of Lord Neraeos and Ourania, Goddess of the Moon
wait! I remember! I have seen and have talken to YOU, Lady Ourania! Mind me, YOU DIVINES really popp into me way too soon!

Are my days to be count? Never mind, let's get back to tending my own business...
Kastalia, Goddess of the River, charged the battleground upon (the homeworld shared by the Greater Dragons) Krenindala.
Good, I was no witness!

Kastalia was slain and The Beast God survived only through a dramatic rescue by HIS lover, LADY Selene, Goddess of Beauty and Love;
wasn't she into Lord Scarlatti? This is tough stuff! Good I am not with the DIVINES in the Garden of the Gods, accessible from the Pillars of Heaven
in the central Vashnar Mountains, way high above!

Wait? I might have been near that place...lost in blizzards and suddently deposited some other grounds!
but back to the story! The Love Goddess has immediately sedated HIM im in HER sanctuary in the Temple of Beauty to heal from His grievous wounds.

Bal'met later attacked the sleeping BEAU but was foiled by Lady Selene again.
The Worldreaver slew the Goddess and - sated on HER essence - abandoned HIS pursuit of the dormant deity. Lupus slept untroubled for two hundred years.
Gosh! I wonder what happened when HE awoke and WHO THEN was set in tears!

Reminds me of something I somewhere heard:
A man descends from above, kept aloft by a glimmering tracery of ghostly wings.
Why do I remember all these things?

He lands heavily on the ground, an axe gripped in one hand and a trident spinning rapidly in the other.
Is this some gift from my Mother?

Moving to engage his enemy, a cruel Infernal intent on ravaging the forest, the man blinks his eyes briefly and a look of concentration descends on his features.
I cannot remember her being my teacher...

The spectral wyvern roars defiantly as a blazing scintilla of light surrounds the Sentinel.
Perhaps I am growing senile?!?

As the glow fades, the air grows cold, the ghostly figure entwined with the man now resemblent of sinuous wyrm,
and he leaps for his adversary, breath turning to ice and spectral claws poised to strike...
Hm...senile? Is this perhaps a good thing, or...YIKES?! I should really quicly send a prayer or two, excuse me!

"May the strength of Lupus suffuse me...May I dispatch my unworthy quarry. Let the Wild my fury incense; The Beast God taste his essence!"
Where did that come from? My brain must start doing things on it's own...or am I feeling some sort of presence?

Best be getting back to sleep...
Before I get dragged into sumfin awefully strange stuff - and this surely way too deep!

Cheerio the all of you! Stay blessed and dun get confused, nor set your souls to rest!
