When The Sky Met The Sea

Written by: Seeker of Lore Liraen Lockwood, the Dark Phoenix
Date: Monday, February 20th, 2023
Addressed to: Captain Micharoj Matrose

The quill writes
What my heart cannot
With my tongue in a knot
And my brain stuck in ice

At sea we smile
Wind in our feathers
Not caring for the weather
For we're together every trial

We never grew together
You at sea, me in the sky
Though we struggled, we did so apart

Yet you are still my brother
So it will be, and none shall question why
Let it be that we will never part

Penned by my hand on the 17th of Valnuary, in the year 910 AF.
