Do you know how cold the wind blows When your feelings sink so down deep and low, how the chill goes to the bone when you are completely alone?

Keeping to the darker corners within the chasms of my mind, within the dark shadows where feelings go to die. Watch the sun rise from afar, burning to embers in restful peaceful slumber.

Under the blackness where no light is seen. The night, it comes and comforts me. I have seen you close and from afar. Strangers are really all we are.

Happiness lost; happiness found. Watch the hands hold tight as the heart take flight. Smiles on your lips, pressed together a lovers first kiss.

From Afar, do you know how important you still are? Dreams on fire, wreathed in desire, the bridges they built are burned to silt.

Memories of love revived, looks like you both survived. That which did not kill you, and from afar hand in hand you wander through desert sands.

Do you know how cold the wind blows when your feelings sink so deep and low? When the chill blows to the bone. Do you know how it feels to be completely Alone?

Penned by my hand on the 23rd of Aeguary, in the year 895 AF.
