Yearning

Lonely heart, solitary journey
It doesn't understand or reason
Searching for you, tendrils of scent
Yearning for touch, tender and sweet

Lion heart, taste of blood
Once acquired, it thirsts again
Love is the same, it craves again
Yearning for touch, tender and sweet

Sailor returned, from tempestuous seas
The siren's song calls loud and clear
Memories vivid, irrigated with tears
Yearning for touch, tender and sweet

Penned by my hand on the 4th of Mayan, in the year 892 AF.
