Poetry News Post #5781

Growing apart

Written by: Shieldwarden Kimora Feileacan-Ex'xis

It started when you stopped talking to the stars and laughed when I said
you felt far.

As you began to lose wonder, I danced with thunder.
Grabbing hands with rain and hail.

Come sail with me pleadingly pulling you toward the sea but you forgot how to swim, forgot how to fly we could travel through sky.

Stop asking how, stay on sapience for now.

I will transport without you next to me.

It is sad to be more happy.

Alone, with the universe.

I miss the old you the most but it's time to go.

I'll tell the stars you said hello.

Penned by my hand on the 3rd of Valnuary, in the year 877 AF.
