A Lost Son

Oh how my heart cries out
And there is no doubt about
The loss of a son
And the chance of return, none.

All the places I would take you,
From the Great Rock to Moghedu
It's really been a fun ride,
No, I'm not taking this in stride.

All the lessons you still had to learn
Things took such a sharp turn
Yes, I feel so hurt
But my faith still gives me comfort

Though I wish to grieve
I shall take no reprieve
I wish you nothing but the best
Our bond severed when you died, and I laid you down to rest.

Penned by my hand on the 5th of Aeguary, in the year 873 AF.
