Ambition

They say you can't- it's beyond your reach.
This lie they tell themselves so they can sleep.
Because if you believe the lies they tell,
The threat you'd become is already quelled.

Disbelieve I say and take hold your fate.
Reach out and don't despair when they pull you down.
It's their fear that keeps them there.
Outrun them. Outgrow them.
Find your limits and break them.
Find their limits and break them, too.
Take your chains and break them.
Ambition is the way, achievement is the goal.
