Daybreak Dancer

Heavens gathered in audience
Spotlighted by the solstar's rise
Star performer smiling beneath
Cast in resplendent dawn and blue

Waters crystalline the stage
Mountain breeze the symphony
Clarion song in a snowy theatre
Echoing with her every move

Through some arcane imbuement
Or merely by virtue of grace
Shimmering waves in her wake
Ripple deepest within my soul

Mere footsteps, she may call them
Yet each within my entranced sight
Another beat in an endless dance
Every treasured moment the venue

Becoming the enchanted viewer
Captivated by winged elegance
Praying for my whispered words
To harmonise with her song

Penned by my hand on the 15th of Phaestian, in the year 822 AF.
