Poetry News Post #5330

Happy

Written by: Lord Sobriquet Storm, The Shadow
Date: Thursday, September 20th, 2018
Addressed to: Gypsy Eliana Campbell, Ribbon Terror of the Drunk Seas

You and I sat in a ship's ruin
Alcohol interlaced
Your fur matted and ruffled
beautiful, expiring
Words were a struggle,
our heads vague with quiet understanding
a death and a band
beyond everything else.
You are my world.
Round, with a ring and cold at the top.

Penned by my hand on the 19th of Lupar, in the year 781 AF.
