Waiting.
Written by: Young Apple Tree, Lyne Vespertine
Date: Thursday, April 17th, 2003
Addressed to: Everyone
I stand all alone
Stance set like stone
You may come, maybe not
Irregardless, I'll move not
Days come and go
Plants sprout and grow
The wind blows with a power
And new love turns sour
Weeks I have stood
Anything else, I doubt I could
People begin to ask
I say nothing behind my mask
My hair's beyond my ears
I've been here for years
No one knows my name
All consider me lame
Still I wait for you
For some sign, out of the blue
I wait for you to take my hand
And lead me from this land
Everyone has forgotten my name
Penned by my hand on the 23rd of Lleian, in the year 97 MA.
