Where Silence Reigns

Written by: Metrist Kendre, the Rampantly Rhyming

Where silence reigns,
There are no lanes,
No fools, no houses
no lovers, nor spouses

The silence now rules,
Having been crowned
The crowd of fools
Have now all drowned

For none but the wise
Understand that the rise
Of Silence implies
That there can be no lies

If there are no lies
There can only be truth
There would be no cries
No need for a sleuth

It is now a calm world
Where the plans unfurled
Seek harmony and quiet,
Instead of chaos, and riot.

Penned by my hand on the 9th of Sarapin, in the year 539 AF.
