To whomever owned Yuuki, an aged Adryn hound:

While playing with my beloved winged horse,
My blade wobbled, went a little off course.
Aimed for an animal, thought I was sound,
But watched in horror as I stabbed a hound.
When probing the most unfortunate beast,
With the thought that I'd replace it at least,
Imagine my shock and utter despair --
Instead of a name, the word "SHRUB" was there!
If an Adryn hound named Yuuki was yours,
And you left it behind the book nook's doors,
I have some bad news to share with you, friend.
Your pet's met with an unfortunate end.
Please accept my apology humble.
Perhaps sometime to Thera we'll tumble
Where I can buy you a new little dog.
(They're much nicer than a cat or a frog.)
