The Seven Truths, in Sonnet

Written by: Senator Mardosi Crescent

Writ first are definitons of the core:
Evil itself, and Cruelty; Sartan's Lash
Which turns to harry weakness out the door
So strength shall conquer frailty till the last
Writ next, are tools to bring thyself to pow'r
Combat, of course; to this all can attest
Pray, remember, conscience must be scoured
Through pain, deliver all the world from pests
Writ last, the seventh truth serves to remind
That he who suffers grows through his despair
Forget this not, lest you be left behind
As all the world bows 'neath the Demon's glare
Before the Twin Lords' feet forever kneel
To Evil, bow, or die beneath Its heel

Penned by my hand on the 1st of Aeguary, in the year 523 AF.
