Tree is green. Green most part is leaf.
Me has all seen, but one thing give grief.
At time of season, leaf no green.
Leaf is crimson, wind is so mean.
Wind push leave from arm of tree.
Leaf dies, I grieve, all can see.
Leaf once bright, leaf once dance.
Leaf took flight, leaf not stand chance.
On ground, under foot leaf crunch.
All hear sound, leaf wind lunch.
Do tree miss dancing green leaf?
Know not me, but I believe.

Penned by my hand on the 25th of Phaestian, in the year 516 AF.
