When someone puts you down,
For something you can do,
Look not upon them with hate,
For this is something that is true.
People will hate, scorn, despise,
The fact that you have a talent.
Something that they wish they had,
Time that they with they could have spent.
Do not learn to hate your gifts,
For they are what make you unique,
They are there to make you strong,
Not there so you feel weak.
Everyone has something different to bring,
Everyone can offer their own kind of aid.
Whether it's for charity, compensation,
Or that the user is getting paid.
We all have things that others do not,
And lack things that we don't.
Do not take for granted
What you can make you own.
Never let your gifts,
Grow brittle, and dull,
For one day that gift,
Will slip from your skull.
Be glad of what you do!
Take pride in yourselves.
For no one can solve every problem,
All by themselves.
It takes various gifts,
Powers, and views.
In order to change the world,
Fix problems, and make news.
