Sunflowers

Sunflowers

Tiny seeds of black and white
awake in dirt
to grow with pride

through tender sprouts of baby green

with hope to grasp their distant dream
to touch the crown that lights the sky

until they finally stand as tall
as giants
in their glorious pose

while petals frame their lifted heads,

and they will smile upon your face
with all the love found in her rays.

Penned by my hand on the 9th of Daedalan, in the year 510 AF.
