A RESPONSE TO PUBLIC 28 IN VERSE

Written by: Minosha
Date: Wednesday, April 15th, 2009
Addressed to: Servelan de Vermiis, the Orator

Servelan Who Never Lies

For medical science, for the good of all
She stole my heart
The silver-tongued Orator from the North
I rest assured she speaks the truth
At least in part,
At least in part
Her honeyed lips may break my fall

Altruism is a four-letter word
But a hundred orphans can't be wrong
Her heart is solid gold
My heart is wreathed in song
On my sleeve
And in her hands
She holds a seed of disorder
The heart of us all

Penned by my hand on the 16th of Lupar, in the year 506 AF.
