Speaking to a Drunken Jester

O! speak to me pretty words,
Though they be false.
For I, dear Jester,
am nothing but a dreaming fool.
I live a dream within a dream,
In place more fair than most have seen,
And I have lived so many lies,
That as I speak,
My heart does die.

Penned by my hand on the 14th of Daedalan, in the year 485 AF.
