First Kiss

A warm smile alights her face
As she twirls with joy and grace
Gracefully stepping to avoid her feet
As you sway to rythm and beat

She spins around and around
your heartbeat drowns out the sound
Her hand brushes your cheek
Its all you can do to keep from going weak

A final twirl and she looks into your eyes
"Do it" your heart moans and cries
You lean in and your eyes close
The intensity of the moment gorws, and grows

Your about to pull back when her lips touch yours
Your heart races, and leaps, and soars
Tongues dancing, as your feet were moments before
The music now just a dull roar

The only sound now is the beating of your heart
as your lips meld together, as if not to come apart

Penned by my hand on the 7th of Scarlatan, in the year 480 AF.
