Spare Us!

Writing such as yours is rare,
That doesn't mean it's wanted.
You should not be quite so proud
Your dreadful talent is thus flaunted.

If I were you, I'd hide my face,
And cut off both those hands.
Clear your mind of bardic dreams,
And insert head in the sand.

Penned by my hand on the 7th of Valnuary, in the year 464 AF.
