Upon a last trip to a city
Fond of within my heart
I saw a cute little kitty
That could tear me apart

This kitten was adorable indeed
As far as I could see
Yet evil it is
And my tale is this:

I reached down and tried to pet it
That was my first mistake
My hand was almost bitten off!
Ah, the pain was more than I could take
It hissed and sputtered
Growling at me
How clever and stealth it was
To deceive even me!

So now with my hand in a bandage still
After perhaps a month or four
I remember my lesson well
Never pet the kittens in Mhaldor.
