Quill of Essence

Unseen fingers further stretch
to touch the essence
drifting deep

within the winds of history
where whispers
stir from sunken souls

in rise above
the waves of woe.

Imagination's feather flies
so swiftly
back upon a breezy sigh

to touch as quill
the treasured trove

upon the waiting homeland soil.
