_untitled poem_

Written by: Nawtika Blake, Viperas Senex
Date: Saturday, April 21st, 2007
Addressed to: Everyone

Petals lie scattered
Ripped from the stem
She loves me
Loves me NOT
Ground into the dirt
Like my heart
Shreds of what I used to be
In her presence
Disappearing
With every breath
I struggle to take
Assiduous jealousy
Universes apart
Standing next to her
Unable to say the words
I feel
So desperately

Penned by my hand on the 21st of Chronos, in the year 448 AF.
