The Death Card

~*The Death Card*~

The multi-shaded greens of the trees outside
Reach out to catch the tears of angels
As love weeps bittersweet rivers of solitude
And lovers make hate, and die in the dark.

Wings folded, a songbird cries in its sleep
As sulfur and incense burn in the air
The heat re-descends to the ice of my soul
And Lady Sol hides behind clouds of Her hair

The war cries of daemons crackle and boom
As the coward flies to meet his fears
The bottled-up fury of Gods unadored
Rages against the heathen below.

Crystals adorn the boundaries of Inferno
And form ladies' jewelry on the razored wire.

Penned by my hand on the 1st of Lupar, in the year 447 AF.
