The Stars at Play

This poem was an assignment of my house work in Ty Beirdd. My grader
requested that I post it here.
The given topic was Eternal Night, an event where three planets eclipsed
the sun for almost two years.
The Stars at Play
Every time the sun goes down,
the stars run out to play around.
When morning comes, as well it might,
the stars fade and wait for night.
When Tavarius stole the sun
the stars came back to have some fun.
They'd never seen the world at noon
and now thank Slith for this boon.
Slith stayed the planets in their course
and on Mount Nicator gathered force.
What was done -- the hows and whys
were only seen by the skies.
To find the ritual for that spell,
don't ask the stars! They won't tell!
Unless, perchance, you find a way
to give them all a day to play.
