Dance of Combat
---------------

The Bard can dance his fight like no one else.
His battle seems less battle than a show
but don't be fooled, his skill is deeply felt.

You have no clue which way he next will go,
while singing out elaborate or stern.
His battle seems less battle than a show

as music follows everywhere he turns.
His rapier flashes this way then the next,
while singing out elaborate or stern.

With you and his opponent left perplexed,
he's moving faster than your eyes can see.
His rapier flashes this way then the next,

it seems to float in air, alive and free.
It leaves you gaping, breathless, as you watch.
He's moving faster than your eyes can see.

You watch the show with your attention caught:
the Bard can dance his fight like no one else.
It leaves you gaping, breathless, as you watch.
But don't be fooled, his skill is deeply felt.

Penned by my hand on the 10th of Glacian, in the year 439 AF.
