the mirror

and he looked at her
(he looked at her)
and he bent forward
and he whispered into her ear
my love for you meets
where Vengeance and Justice collide
(nowhere)
everywhere..
(nowhere)
everywhere..
and where Justice and Vengeance intersect
(everywhere)
nowhere..
(everywhere)
nowhere..

he looked at her
(he looked into her)
and he whispered into her gently
curved ear
he whispered that I love you
(I hate you)
I love you and I want to touch the sky,
I want to grab Lord Vastar's ankle
and pull myself upwards
(sink down to hell)
I want to touch you where the earth
touches the sky.
(I want to kiss your horizon)

he looked at her
(he looked through her)
and he turned away
(this can't be, it can't, it can't)
and he smiles into the mirror
(it sees my soul, it sees all of me)
and when Apollyon sees Shaitan
he sees nothing.
(he sees everything.)

Penned by my hand on the 18th of Mayan, in the year 428 AF.
