Inner strength

When times get tough it sometimes seems,
there's no way you can get through.
When all that pain is haunting your dreams,
you need to make yourself anew.

Like a pebble in the waves,
allow yourself to be washed clean,
And after you have been that brave,
it will leave you feeling serene.

You inner strength will help you find,
your previous innocence.
And when you've found that peace of mind,
then all of this starts making sense.

Like a feather on the wind,
let yourself be blown away,
away from all the pain within,
and with you only strength will stay.

You know you can, you know you will,
get through this without a scar.
Refind the joy in life you will,
when you remember how strong you are.
