The Moon and Tides

I apologize for my poem not being near as beautiful as sweet Gnaashs but
I felt I needed to at least attempt to respond in kind.
I lose myself in gazing out
Watching the shimmering sea
But you bring me back
With a soft whisper or touch
You bring me back to thee
I love to dance where the moonbeams dance
Out on the tides of the sea
But you bring me back
With a bright, spreading smile
You bring me back to thee
Pulling always at my passionate heart
My special star tells to me
To let you bring me back
With a force like the moon possesses
Lovingly over the tides and thee
In fascination I watch the moon lilies bloom
Their petals open just like love in me
But you bring me back
From the edge of my daydream
You bring me back to thee
Just as the sea reaches up,
Stretching fingers to barely touch
A crescendo in dancing when the moon is near
And the moonbeams kiss each crest and trough
And firelight glimmers down from the sky
From stars that laugh with us all night
You will always bring me back to thee.
Penned by my hand on the 16th of Aeguary, in the year 415 AF.
