There is irony in this,
how quickly you forget.
The shades of night were falling,
as I, for you.
I tapped my heel against
the cobblestone to keep from laughing
outloud,
but out loud were the stars shining
and the lamps cutting shadows
across your table and
your face,
hiding your smug smile behind
your fingers as you
watched me try not to laugh;
but the breeze blew the momeny away.
But the sparkle remains in your
eyes and I
know you remember.

Penned by my hand on the 7th of Miraman, in the year 407 AF.
