Immortal

Let the skies crumble, on this cold winter night.
Let it roar mighty, unleash the storm's might!
And let me awaken, from my cold satin sheets
And inside my shelter, where no mortal heart beats.
Offers and gifts, shallow and vain,
Mermaids will dance a dance of sweet pain,
But tonight, sweet one, I want none of this.
Your sorrow I'll sip from your lips in a kiss.

Let mermaids dance in wirlwinds of coulours,
In white candle light, in red velvet hours.
Let music play for our passion and lust.
So later we'll pray to forget what has passed...
To forget the dreams of sin, to forgive one another.
To let the sky break with lightning and thunder...
And when it's all over I'll whisper so light:
"I'll kiss you at sunrise and again tonight".

Penned by my hand on the 7th of Miraman, in the year 406 AF.
