My lighthouse
There is one beacon in my life
That ne'er seems to fade
That lights my heart through foggy nights
And never will upbraid
I hold him as my beacon true
My lighthouse in the dark
His light shines through all murk and grim
Through reality cruel and stark
He is my hope through stormy times
And comfort in the day
He keeps me well and safely out
From cliffs along my way
And when my boat lands at the dock
He waves me hither to -
To join him in the lighthouse home
To watch the ocean blue

And now I'm waiting for you at the dock, watching for the light in the
lighthouse.
