Not Goodbye

Written by: Lady Greyda Corten

Surely the Black Wave may rise once more,
Aimless battles may be lost, or won,
The Gods may turn, forsaking mortals, or
The sea may swallow up the setting sun.

The stars may fall out of the very skies,
And forests deep may all too quickly burn
But eternities shall pass before my eyes,
Before I lose the hope of your return.

Penned by my hand on the 24th of Aeguary, in the year 403 AF.
