Oh Sad One

Written by: Rainee, Hope's Song
Date: Saturday, August 6th, 2005
Addressed to: Sonnetist Talkaze, Madrigal of Misery

I wish you to know just how I feel
About your antics and supposed thrill
I wish you to think about what you have done
And how you've destroyed a wonderful one

I doubt you will think of it one more day
I doubt you will care if he is cast away
I'm sure you will blame him for giving you way
I'm sure you will laugh at this game you play

You haven't once thought that you were once good
A master of rhyming and warrior there stood
But instead you now gloat and probably laugh
About the joke you have pulled on the bardic staff

I doubt you have thought of how you ruin lives
I doubt you will care that my love still survives
I'm sure that your goals and dreams are all sour
I'm sure all you do is destroy then go cower

And for once in my life my admiration has fallen
To include you, oh sad one, in my pity and rage
For I only feel sorry for you in your loneliness
And I still stand by my sweet and wonderful mage

So wallow in pity and self loathing, sad one
You deserve misery for all that you've done
I hope that you gain someday much brighter sense
And stop doing things that make you look awful and dense

Penned by my hand on the 11th of Aeguary, in the year 399 AF.
