ACROSTIC

Another type of poem
Captured here for your perusal.
Read the first letter of each line
One can discern the meaning
Still not clear in your mind?
Then can I make it simpler?
Initials spell the subject, whilst the poem
Creates the image in its words.

TRIOLET

Wind howls through the trees
And in the cabin, a young child cries.
A ghostly spirit before the Wild Hunt flees
Wind howls through the trees
Entering the homestead, a most unholy breeze.
Searching, seeking, settling where a child lies
Wind howls through the trees
And in the cabin, a young child cries.
