Mind you all, I am a terrible writer, but I felt the need to write this,
mostly to alleviate some of the pain I am still feeling from the death
of my daughter.

Brown and green flow through my head,
And I know immediately it's you
Coming to visit me one last time
Before your time here is through.

I hold you tightly and kiss your cheeks,
Stroke your hair back from your face
Looking deep into your eyes,
I tell you that no one could take your place.

You are my sweet, baby girl,
My angel from above.
There is nothing in this world that could make me stop
Feeling this everlasting love.

I know that you are waiting for me
In the kingdom of my Father,
And until the day I can see you again,
With sadness I shall not bother.

Your life in this world may be over now,
But your memory will live on.
I will love you until the day I die,
Until time ends and beyond.

Though you were not with us long,
You will always be in our hearts and prayers.
Your mother and father love you unconditionally,
No matter who you are, what or where.

I love you, my darling Chalenna, and one day I will see you again.
