Relentless I close my eyes.
Not wanting to open them.
Relentless I try, to keep them shut.
Away from seeing, away from sight.

And I try, relentlessly, to avoid confrontation.
Hoping it will lose vision, as I have lost mine.
Relentless, I am, in my search.
To find a voice, historical voice of ages.
Though I may keep my eyes closed, relentlessly.
My hearing has not left me.

Will I be heard, by those beyond me?
Will be my voice be drowned in the stream of time?
Shall it fade away with no response?
And shall it fade in silence, as reaction?

Penned by my hand on the 14th of Daedalan, in the year 394 AF.
