Rag Doll

My leaden arms
Sink to the floor
Lower my head
Rag doll, limp.

Illusion of safety
As the silver snake
Draws ever closer
Moves in for the kill.

Slow working venom,
Death from inside.
Never stood a chance
Paralysed mind.

Now all that's left,
The little rag doll.
Bound and defeated.
Never stood a chance.

Penned by my hand on the 24th of Chronos, in the year 393 AF.
