Lyrist Katarina

Wand'ring through the groves of ancient olives
Lives a maiden fair. In youth she gives
Pleasure great to those who meet her.
Hair of darkest sable - softer
Than the finest silken fox fur.

Celia named by parents dead too long to tell of,
Laughter sweeter than the song of tender first love.
Wordless musics from her lips divine now alight.
Beauty fair and full of grace, an angel of light.
Eyes of sea foam smile at love in tender delight.

Barefoot through the groves she wanders, smiling.
Radiant smile so full of life and loving.
Gentle soul who knows no evil, serene.
Nothing cruel to hurt her, nothing mean.
Bringing joy always to our great Cyrene.

Penned by my hand on the 16th of Lupar, in the year 388 AF.
