I found myself counting the moments until I saw you again...

My heart, broken before
Was not ready to love again, or so I thought...
Without knowing it

I was truly blessed;
I married my best friend.

Your fire and passion rivals mine
You make me as angry as you do happy

I never knew someone could invoke such feeling in me.

We went our separate ways, more than once
What a mistake
Those times, my heart always yearned for you.
My heart now back with yours
I wish we had not waited so long.

My husband, my confidant,
My best friend, and more.
Every time my eyes lay upon you
I still have to catch my breath.
My dream come true,
I would do anything for you, now and always.

And now...gone.
This came too fast,
I am not ready.

So much I want to say...
To experience with you.
Make up for my past mistakes.
Look to my future with you at my side.
Do my best to show you what you mean to me.

I wish I could have done these things before you departed
I have faith that you will come back to me.

Now as I wait, with bated breath
For the day we are together again
