hi there, this is my first post on this news board so sorry if my poem
isnt too good. it didnt exactly start out as being about the current
events, but it ended up that wat, anyway, i hope you all engoy it.

By the Glowing Fire

living by the glowing fire,
we learn to trust out sences,
we fight back the erg to stare,
for this will only damage.

living in the windy feild,
we learn to brace ourself,
from any harm that could take us away,
and fight back against the intrusion.

living on the shining lake,
we learn not to venture far,
for any stray off the protected path,
could cause the water to swallow you quick.

living in the snowy mountains,
we learn to respect what we are given,
never take or never leave more then our share,
but still enough to keep us going.

and this is where we live,
at all times we live everywhere,
we, men, wemon, children,
all live as one.

so if one of us has fallen to another,
the great chain begins to fall,
for we each are a link in our great world,
and we must live together.

so end these fights, and live in harmony,
for all we need is a little faith,
in our fellow being and holy Lord,
for neither will lead us astray.

so go back to the life you had once,
as farmer, or backer, or tailor,
not as warrior to a thirst for blood,
drop your arms and renounce the war.

only then can we end this feud,
for if there is no fighter,
there can be no fight,
and it will all be but a memory.

and then we can all live again
as we once did,
in the mountains, and on the lake,
and in the feild, and by the fire.

only then will all shall be as it was,
in simpler times,
where we lived by the fire,
and simply lived, nothing more.
