Revenge - A mothers will

You once stood tall,
In 45 seconds we watched you fall,
Never again,
Will we be so blind to let them win.
...But now I'm twisting and turning,
My body broken on gleam,
Body burning,
Praying my life was a dream.
Tears flowing,
Can't breathe,
Always knowing,
They took you from me.
The vision replays just running through my head,
It's all falling,
How I wish I were dead,
Wait...I hear someone calling.
"Vertani you will pay!"
The shout so near,
Yet so far away,
My sight once cloudy, now so clear.
"They will pay, " I growled in bed,
I got up quickly and shot out the door,
Hate and grief running through my head,
They'll lose their own at least once more.
Running through the wilderness running through the streets,
Shouting for the Vertani,
Until our eyes do meet,
"You threatened us, now we can't be friends...now can we?"
One strike at him,
And one coming back,
Two Vertani came in,
And now I lay on the ground flat.
Which guild will my children join?
Now I may never know,
I struck for my childrens future,
Now I won't be with my family to see us grow old.
All went black,
There was nothing but a beat,
Fatigue (or death) over coming me,
No strength to stand on my feet.
Hours went,
Days come and gone,
How much life spent?
I thought I was gone.
"You'll live dear, but don't try that again!"
I looked at the priestess and asked if she'd let them win,
She hung her head sadly and left the room,
All was left was the door down the hall that shut with a loud "boom."
Penned by my hand on the 8th of Aeguary, in the year 386 AF.
