The ebony heart that beats within my chest
is no longer plagued by unrest.
When I look at you, my heart beats in bliss.
I yearn to embrace you with passion's sweet kiss.
You have tamed my wild heart,
it beats as soft as a whisper in the wind
We were destined to be together from the start
You are as an angel falling from the sky,
with broken pearl colored wings, you lag behind
the other angels as they soar through the dark clouds
into heaven you are not allowed,
as you have been discovered by a mortal.
A piece of heaven was never intended
to exist on earth.
