Catching fireflies

Catching Fireflies

They flit and twit
Across my view
glowing lanterns
If only I knew

We laughed and ran
We caught a few
Those were the days
The days I had you

I walk through Eleusis
I see fireflies play
A smile crosses my face
I think of that day

I know you are still here
On the other side of this door
But since you've been gone
I catch fireflies no more

-Shorin Quicksilver

Penned by my hand on the 15th of Valnuary, in the year 384 AF.
