Races

Humans so common
Symmetry so true
Two-legs, two-arms
Five digits to each limb

How can there be
So different from you?
---------------------------------------
Mystic Tsolaa of older times
Eldest of all mortal races
Intelligence shining like a star
Arts and magic, mysteries afar.

The short and hefty, stout old dwarves
All beloved of Phaestus
Forgers and smiths, dwellers of hill.
Tis hard indeed to bend their will.

Fair winged race of high Arcadia.
They live high up in the heavens clouds,
Ruling high upon the open sky
Vastars creation, neer to die.

Most intelligent of them all,
A race of frogs by name Grook
Origins which remain unknown
Magic-users, that is shown.

Beauty among all races mortal
Sirens sing their sweet sweet song
Enticing all weak powrless men
Seduce, enrapture, capture them.

A race composed of only males
Such love of life, jovial expressions
Half-man, half-goat
Learning happiness all by rote.

Brawn over brain
Lurks the massive Troll.
Great strength, awesome power.
Making the most brave cower.

Horkval of such fortitude.
Unusual, as both strong and agile.
Even when nightmares do appear;
Never shown are signs of fear.

From a far-off distant planet
Came a race of lizards;
The enigmatic Xoran came
Strong a smart, a heavens bane.

When theyre from, nobody knows
A race of miners, small and sharp.
Dextrous; in their stride, grace.
Mhun, of the mining race.

Fierce, ferocious, tiger-like,
From another world.
Surpassing all in heated battle
The Rajamala, enemies teeth do rattle.
---------------------------------------
Humans so common

How can there be
So different from you?

------------------------------------------------------------------------
I currently have 1 other poem which I will publish on the news at a
later date.

Penned by my hand on the 15th of Glacian, in the year 383 AF.
