Azdun

Surrounded by a ruined castle
Walking to an ancient well
Looking down its perilous depths
Seeing into purest hell

At the bottom, bones greet you
Deep inside a small round room
Shivering from the dark and damp
Looking around this olden tomb

Walking south unto the crossroads
Stagnant water on the floor
Shivering from the dark and damp
From below, comes a roar

Come upon a silver orb
Floating in the middle air
Shivering from the dark and damp
Looking west with care

Headed west towards goblins
Voices raised in song
Shivering from the dark and damp
Staying here not long

Carts of ore, mining tools
Smithies to the west
Shivering from the dark and damp
Continuing your quest

Back again, back to the east
Two mirrors can be found
Shivering from the dark and damp
Screaming - with no sound.

To the south of the main room
Dangers lie ahead
Shivering from the dark and damp
Many lie here, dead

Colder, wetter, descending quickly
Down the steep old stairs
Shivering from the dark and damp
Musty, is the air.

On the lower level now
Evil creatures wander
Shivering from the dark and damp
Feeding on their slander

Westward lies a true marvel
A forest of illusion
Shivering from the dark and damp
Beholding this odd fusion.

Lush grasses, thriving life
Tall, climbing trees
Shivering from the dark and damp
Happy, buzzing bees

Deep into a giant's lair
Overwhelming stench
Shivering from the dark and damp
Wishing for a bench

Ferocious, angry, trailing blood
Nearly twenty-foot tall
Shivering from the dark and damp
Wanting someone to maul

Breaks your neck without exertion
One thing is no more:
Shivering from the dark and damp
Gone out, through the door.

Penned by my hand on the 15th of Glacian, in the year 383 AF.
