Bluebird

He sits atop the tree
He witnesses a fight underneath him
He sees someone get hurt for no reason
He forgives us and continues to sing.

He sits alone in the forest
He spots someone being thieved
He watches as the despair overcomes the victim
He forgives us and continues to sing.

He sits on the battlefield
He watches us wage war
He sees countless people lose their lives
He forgives us and continues to sing.

He roams the land and sees much
He sees the good and the bad
He sees man win and lose
He forgives us and continues to sing

He sits innocently in his tree
He sees someone approach
He sees them wield their sword
He sees no more

What did he do to you?

-Shorin Quicksilver
