Rain

Rain

Pattering on the window
The droplets hit the glass
You turn your gaze outside
Little rivers in the grass.

Pitter-patter goes the rain
The wind whistles constant song
You hear the crack of thunder
The rain can never last too long.

Placid mellow fills the room
Silent conversations roam
You look over at your family
The sound of rain is home.

Penned by my hand on the 12th of Daedalan, in the year 383 AF.
