If She Loved You

Some tears will fall, from grace
And mar the cheek upon, her face
There's nothing more beautiful
Than a girl with an open heart
Where love is a poison
Seeking the centre like a dart.

And if she said that she loved you
Would you respond in kind?
An acceptance filled with flowery words
To mask the feelings behind
Those eyes.

A clear, conscientious embrace
Follows the words and takes her, to a place
She never dreamed existed
A labyrinth with a twist
A tunnel straight and unwavering
Where no escape exists,

And if she said that she loved you
Would you respond in kind?
An acceptance filled with flowery words
To mask the feelings behind
Those eyes.

Seeing and knowing what lays ahead
Clouded and veiled in front of the dread
Avoiding the time
When you tell her
There's nothing between you
And you end the feelings you share.

And if she said that she loved you
Would you respond in kind?
An acceptance filled with flowery words
To mask the feelings behind
Those eyes.

They're filled doubt and uncertainty
A feeling that they aren't used to possessing
Swirling around in field of pain
Instinct takes over and theres nothing left but

If she said that she loved you
Would you respond in kind?
An acceptance with flowery words
To mask the feelings behind
Those eyes.

Those eyes, those eyes.
Would you respond in kind?
If she said that she loved you

Lord Riashain a'Bertal
